Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a non-surgical aesthetic procedure that involves creating tiny punctures or micro-wounds in the skin using a device equipped with small, fine needles. Despite how that sounds, it's generally well-tolerated and the procedure is done with a numbing cream to minimise discomfort.
The purpose of these micro-wounds is to stimulate the body's natural wound healing process, which includes the production of collagen and elastin, two proteins essential for maintaining the skin's elasticity and firmness.

Diamond tip microdermabrasion is a specific type of microdermabrasion, a non-invasive aesthetic procedure that exfoliates the skin to promote cell renewal and improve skin tone and texture.
Unlike traditional microdermabrasion, which uses tiny crystals to exfoliate the skin, diamond tip microdermabrasion uses a wand with a tip made from natural or synthetic diamond chips. As this wand is moved across the skin's surface, it exfoliates the uppermost layer of skin, removing dead skin cells.
At the same time, the device uses mild suction to vacuum away the dead skin cells and stimulate blood flow in the skin. This action helps to increase the production of collagen, leading to more youthful and plumper looking skin.
Diamond tip microdermabrasion can be less harsh than crystal microdermabrasion as the treatment can be more easily controlled. This makes it suitable for sensitive skin types or for use in delicate areas, such as close to the eyes.

The tint in the serum is what provides the 'glow' and is designed to even out skin tone, lighten pigmentation, and reduce the appearance of freckles and age spots. The result is a 'BB cream' effect – a natural-looking, light coverage that helps to blur imperfections and give the skin a radiant glow.
